Network Insight Consulting Methodology

Our extensive experience and technical knowledge has enabled us to develop tested and proven processes to ensure project success and optimize network manageability. Each phase of a project is intricately managed and documented to deliver a high-performance network that meets the most stringent regulations and qualifications.

Assessment
NICS specialists act as strategic partners evaluating your current network infrastructure architecture and capabilities for:

  • Support of current requirements including number of users, locations and applications
  • Scalability
  • Security
  • Manageability
  • Cost Effectiveness

Design
Based on the recommendations of the assessment, Network Insight’s engineering team will design a scalable, custom network to accommodate your specific technical and business needs and budget. Our processes are fully documented, including product specifications, test and migration plans and cost estimates.

Proof of Concept and Test
NICS builds a proof of concept from the design and develops a test lab either at the Network Insight facility or on your premises. The proof of concept is a non-production proving ground for design validation.

Deployment
The deployment process is a two-phased approach that includes:

  • Pilot Phase
This trial phase is an actual deployment of the newly designed and tested network to a subset of the entire environment. The pilot phase identifies potential issues that can occur in the live deployment making your launch quicker and smoother.
  • Full Deployment
Once the pilot phase has been completed, the full-scale deployment is executed based on a pre-determined execution plan limiting downtime to individual users.

Methodology

Throughout every step of the consulting process Network Insight maintains close attention to two main aspects critical to a successful project:
