NGN FAQs
What is NGN?
Next Generation Network (NGN) refers to key architectural evolutions in telecommunication core and access networks. The general idea is that one network transports all information and services (voice, data, and all sorts of media such as video) by encapsulating them into packets. NGNs are commonly built around the Internet Protocol, and therefore the term "all-IP" is also used to describe NGN.

Can I afford to migrate or build a new NGN?
Affordability is a major concern with many of our customers. Network Insight’s IP NGN solution addresses this concern in several ways:
- Specialized financing partnerships—Lenders who focus on early-stage companies or those who may not qualify for traditional financing packages
- Phased approach—Building or migrating in phases allows leverage of the investments you have already made. Additionally our NGN solution is designed with interoperability built in.
- Can you afford not to?—NGN is well-known for its efficiency and OpEx cost savings. Not migrating will end up costing much more in the long run.
